The DELF session in June was marked by an event in Owerri! A young blind student passed and brilliantly succeeded a DELF A2, thanks to braille materials sent by the International Centre of Pedagogical Studies (CIEP).

Amara Onyedilefu attends Victory Alliance Française since December 2011. She was able to break the stigma surrounding its inclusion in the French language class. Determined to overcome her disability, she patiently managed to integrate into the life of the association. Her presence in the classroom encouraged teachers and students to rethink the conception of the course and everyone came out grown.
She used a special computer for the test of written expression. For listening and reading, it is the examiner who ticked the answers dictated to him by the candidate.
She is already planning to try the B1 in December. And intimately, she hopes to have opened the way for others ...
To pass the test in Braille, we must warn the CIEP 2-3 months in advance, so that materials can be sent on time.
Thanks to the team of the Alliance Française of Owerri which made this beautiful story possible!
